He Continues; “Upgrading our box maker to a new Autobox enables us to offer a much more rapid turn-around service on despatching manufactured promotional products as well as not being limited to the number of boxes we can offer our customer base per day/week/month. The new box maker is getting through in one day what the old one would in four days”.
Daniel Bladen, Operations Director, adds: “The New Autobox is set up in seconds. The quality of boxes is so much better than before, and the time freed up has enabled us to put a second shift on to the printing and converting side of the business”. He continues: “On one job, we were getting over 1300 boxes per hour being automatically fed which meant there was only one operator needed. On top of this, the new machine has much more manual control and potential designs available. One of the designs we have found very useful is the 0401 design, normally this is produced on a diecutter, requiring costly tooling. Also the set up time on this job is only 60 to 120 seconds and we can produce large and small format wraps.
Arran Sethi, Sales Manager for Kolbus-Autobox comments: “The installation went really well. Bladen Box were producing live jobs the next day. Their operators were very happy with the speed, quality and ease of use of the Autobox”.
